Typhoon Haiyan was the strongest storm ever to make landfall, causing unprecedented destruction in the Visayas region of the central Philippines. Gathering feedback from typhoon affected communities through Community Response Map allowed humanitarian organizations and government units to assess the effectiveness of their work and ensure that their support is reaching those who need it most. Feedback was primarily collected via phone, SMS and face to face communications from Nov 2014 to Feb 2015 by various humanitarian agencies.

Welcome to Community Response Map (CRM)

Community Response Map (CRM) is an online data platform developed by IOM to facilitate direct feedback from beneficiaries, especially when security or terrain make regular contact difficult. It enables project managers to:

Monitor projects more effectively by mapping information gathered via various feedback mechanisms

Evaluate the progress of a project by using an easily accessible online database and maps

Share project outcomes visually with colleagues, government partners, donors and other stakeholders
